Director of Information & Digital Systems

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Information & Digital Systems is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of Grand Home's information technology, digital business systems, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. This role serves as the bridge between business operations and technology, ensuring systems, processes, data, and technology investments support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experience.
The Director of Information & Digital Systems will provide leadership and direction to the Business Analyst and IT functions while serving as the Grand Home's subject matter expert for CRM strategy, business systems, process automation, systems integration, and technology planning. This position partners closely with executive leadership to develop and execute technology initiatives that align with Grand Home's strategic objectives and future growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following essential functions describe the primary responsibilities of this position but are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties.
CRM & Digital Systems Leadership
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Company's CRM platform and digital business systems.
• Ensure continuity, optimization, and long-term sustainability of mission-critical CRM operations.
• Oversee system integrations, automation initiatives, reporting, and business process improvements.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve performance and efficiency.

Technology Strategy & Innovation
• Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Create and maintain technology roadmaps that support future growth.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support business needs.
• Lead digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.

IT Operations & Infrastructure
• Oversee information technology operations and vendor relationships.
• Ensure system reliability, business continuity, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Support infrastructure planning and technology-related projects.
• Promote a proactive approach to technology support and operational effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Development
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop Business Systems and IT team members.
• Establish performance expectations and accountability measures.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Support workforce planning and resource allocation within the technology function.

Project & Vendor Management
• Lead software implementations, upgrades, and integration projects.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and software providers.
• Negotiate and administer technology-related contracts and service agreements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure successful implementation of business solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in information systems, business systems, CRM administration, digital systems, technology leadership, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional employees.
• Experience overseeing CRM platforms, business applications, systems integration, technology projects, and vendor relationships.
• Experience supporting business operations through technology strategy and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading organizational change and technology adoption efforts preferred.
• Homebuilding, construction, real estate, mortgage, financial services, or related industry experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between company locations as needed.

• Strong understanding of CRM platforms, business systems, workflow automation, systems integration, reporting tools, and data management.
• Working knowledge of information technology infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity principles, cloud-based technologies, and end-user support functions.

• Ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Ability to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.

• Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management skills.
• Ability to lead through change and drive organizational adoption of new technologies and business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel occasionally to company locations, meetings, and vendor sites as business needs require.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Professional office environment.
• Primarily sedentary work performed in an office setting.
• Frequent interaction with executives, managers, employees, vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
• May require occasional work outside normal business hours to support system implementations, upgrades, technology issues, or critical business needs.
• On-site position with occasional travel as required.
