Social Media/Marketing Coordinator

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing the company's social media strategy, as well as other developments’ social channels, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will create content and assess the performance of their content through monthly data analytics and ad spend. This position also assists marketing efforts with entire Sales & Marketing Teams. The ideal candidate is a creative, hyper detail-oriented individual who works well as a team player and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Duties:
1) Social Media Management
• Assist with streamlining social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements within the communities.
• Increase the number of followers on Facebook and Instagram by following and engaging with potential clients, candidates and real estate professionals.
• Monitoring and replying to Facebook and Instagram posts and direct messages.
• Work with Director of Marketing to implement other channel-specific campaigns (i.e. uploading photos as well as videos to YouTube, etc.).
• Understand Ad Spend within each platform and monitor monthly budgeting for each project, make suggestions on how to re-allocate ad spend based on key performance indicators within each platform for projects.
2) Marketing Coordination
• Work with marketing and sales teams to produce sales and marketing collateral materials.
• Act as a direct contact with sales team for marketing supply needs and fulfillment.
• Create content and develop graphics for website, email blasts, brochures and presentations.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop long & short term ad/promo plans to assist sales team.
• Proactively gain knowledge of company product and all community locations (30 neighborhoods).
3) Coordinating and Distributing Content
• Scheduling and coordinating a monthly brainstorming meeting with Director of Marketing to establish content ideas and to plan for social media, editorial, marketing and blogging calendar.
• Maintain monthly social media and blogging calendar.
• Drive awareness of new announcements by posting articles into LinkedIn and Facebook
• Repurpose content from other sources for our own social media channels (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel).
4) Understanding and monitoring social media analytics
• Track key social media analytics on a monthly basis, including Google Analytics, LinkedIn company stats, Facebook Analytics, etc.
• Track and report website statistics using Google Analytics. Moniker content performance and track flow of traffic to website. Track the number of viewers and time spent on page. Track the best performing website pages and generate new content for pages with less traffic.
• Work with Director of Marketing to build monthly reporting tools on social media analytics and performance against goals.
5) Email Marketing and SEO
• Research and use online directories to generate inbound links for SEO.
• Using Google, search on key words and look at competitors’ brands for forums and directories that we can sign up for to generate in-bound links for our company.

Key Skills Required for the Role:
• Passion for social media to create a digital destination for our communities
• Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing & designing
• Excellent verbal communications skills
• An interest in marketing, communications, social media and reputation management
• Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. Instagram and Facebook) and with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiarity with creative design programs such as Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator
• An ability to consistently demonstrate hard work and effectiveness in personal approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail and highly motivated
• A proactive, service-focused attitude towards our internal teams
• An ability to remain calm under pressure and a resilient attitude towards challenges
• An ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times; and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
• Must be able to drive to developments in the DFW area to take pictures for posts when needed
• Strong problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to think out of the box and implement creative solutions

Requirements and Qualifications:,
• Social Media / Digital Marketing experience, real estate industry preferred
• Experienced in photography / video skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Wordpress
• Knowledge of social media scheduling software / social media management tools
• Knowledge of social media content editing
• Knowledge of current social media trends and adaptability to new / future trends
• Travel required around the DFW metroplex
