Building a quality home is our first priority here at Grand Homes. That’s why nothing but the best will do. We take pride in having our own quality inspection team to provide you with a superior product that meets and exceeds city and municipality standards. Our quality team inspects the home sites during the two most crucial stages of the construction process—foundation and frame.
You expect quality. We inspect quality!
Foundation
Prior to placing the concrete during the foundation stage, the inspectors verify the home’s position and thoroughly inspect the forms to ensure that they are square, parallel, and level. After the concrete has been laid, the inspectors use a laser level to verify that the slab does not have humps or dips.
Frame
The next major stage is the frame stage. During this time, the inspectors check for structural integrity of the frame and verify that the walls are plumb and level. In addition, they verify that the details of the blue print are being followed and the elevations are being built per plan. Roof and ceiling framing are inspected to ensure that they meet uniform building code. Inspectors also check the joist system, cornice and roof decking, trim work, siding, and windows.
